Recording a bank transfer, cash or money paid in advance

Payments → To collect → Record payment, or from the family's Payments tab. Everything owed is ticked and the amount filled in. Change the amount if they paid less or more.

1. Paid less: the oldest lessons are covered first; the rest stays owed.
2. Paid more, or in advance: the extra is kept as credit and used for their next taught lessons (you can switch that off in Payments → Settings).
3. A mistake? Reverse the payment with a reason. Nothing is deleted; the history shows both.

Swimvity records payments families make to you. It never collects or moves lesson money.
